Epchris House is the oldest building in the Torrs dating back to the 1700s and is set in over an acre of stunning landscaped gardens, incorporating a sheltered sun terrace with far-reaching views from where you can enjoy an al fresco breakfast or evening drink.  There’s an on-site parking space for each room and well behaved dogs are welcomed, as are children aged 12 and over, muddy walking boots and soggy wetsuits!

We have a lovely bar, lounge and games room – The Lundy Lounge – where you can sit and relax, flick through a book from our library or enjoy a round of table tennis or one of our selection of board games.

Ilfracombe’s historic harbour, Damien Hirst’s Verity statue and the highly rated restaurants of picturesque Fore Street are just a 10-15 minute stroll and access to the dramatic South West Coast path is a mere 5 minute walk.

There is also a separate on-site PADI Dive Centre, so if you would like to book a scuba taster or refresher session, a PADI Open Water course or a trip to dive with the Seals at Lundy Island, please visit the Easy Divers Website.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to Epchris House and please do not hesitate get in touch if you have any questions.

Lovely 3 Night Break – We have just spent 3 nights at Epchris House what a delight. Cath and the team have everything down to a fine art. Nicely decorated and clean rooms, comfy bed and big white fluffy towels. Breakfast was delicious and a nice touch being served in your room, we didn’t get to eat on the terrace as the weather wasn’t great, the garden is lovely to look at whilst you are eating breakfast.

Delightful – We have just returned from a six night stay at Epchris House. We received a very warm welcome from Cath, the owner, who showed us to our delightful room which was spotlessly clean and had excellent facilities including a mini fridge that contained (fresh) milk and complimentary bottles of mineral water. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were served to our room and were delicious and made from top quality ingredients. A hamper supplies your first preselected course which is delivered to your door followed by your preselected freshly cooked and piping hot breakfast at your chosen time slot. There is plenty of choice. There is a large lounge downstairs with a well stocked honesty bar and a table tennis table. Books and games are also available
